Hi, I'm Vashti! I started SCA Research Assistance in 2019 as a Facebook Page with the goal of helping people learn how to research and connect them with resources. By helping find sources for specific projects I developed a broad database of sources. This website is the result of organizing my sources. I wanted to make those sources available to others as a headstart on their research. This is a personal page and not officially associated with the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA).

About the SCA

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an inclusive community pursuing research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat and culture. The lives of participants are enriched as we gain knowledge of history through activities, demonstrations, and events.
